Around 7 a.m., a foreign man was riding a motorcycle on provincial road 547 (Ha Tinh coastal road) in a north-south direction. Upon reaching Phu Thuong village, Ky Anh commune, the motorcycle struck a 7-seater car that was crossing an intersection.

The impact caused the 7-seater car to swerve and plunge into a roadside field. The driver had to crawl out through the broken window on the left side of the driver's seat. The motorcycle was thrown into the middle of the intersection, and its rider sustained minor scratches and injuries.

At the scene, the 7-seater car had a deformed front and body, with its front, side, and rear windows shattered. The motorcycle's front was also deformed, and numerous vehicle debris was scattered across the road.
