Car causes chain-reaction crash in Vung Tau

A car traveling on Thong Nhat street, Tam Thang ward (formerly Vung Tau city) collided with a motorbike and then a pickup truck, causing a chain-reaction accident that injured one person on the morning of 30/8.

Around 6 a.m., a woman driving a 4-seat car was traveling on Thong Nhat street towards Le Hong Phong street in Tam Thang ward. Upon reaching the intersection with alley 285 Binh Gia, the car clipped a motorbike crossing the street.

The car then continued forward and crashed into a parked pickup truck, pushing it forward into the rear of an electric car parked in front of it.

The woman on the motorbike was injured and taken to the hospital by bystanders. The 4-seat car sustained heavy front-end damage, while the other two vehicles were dented and damaged.

Traffic police cleared the scene and are investigating the cause of the accident.
