Driver Nguyen Van Trieu couldn't produce a passenger transport permit. The traffic police determined that both the driver and the vehicle owner had violated regulations regarding "failure to confirm a transport order" and "overloading passengers," resulting in a total fine of nearly 100 million VND. Trieu also had two points deducted from his driver's license. The passengers were transferred to another vehicle to continue their journey.
Phu Loc Traffic Police Station stated they will continue to inspect and strictly penalize overloading, reckless driving, and speeding, emphasizing a "no exceptions, no prohibited zones" policy.
