Around 1:30 a.m., a fire erupted in the 200-square-meter finished goods warehouse of Cheng - V Vietnam Co., a leather shoe manufacturer, located adjacent to the industrial zone's internal road. Due to the abundance of flammable materials, the fire quickly engulfed the entire workshop, sending a plume of black smoke dozens of meters high.
The night shift workers had evacuated safely, resulting in no casualties.
Upon receiving the report, the Hai Phong City Police dispatched 6 fire trucks, a specialized robot, and dozens of officers and firefighters to the scene. The robot was deployed to access the dangerous heart of the fire, assisting in spraying water and reducing risks to firefighters.
