To ensure air safety during the election period, the Ha Noi Capital High Command has mandated a temporary suspension of all drone and other aerial vehicle flights that have been granted permits across the city. Exceptions apply only to authorized flights directly serving the election and those with coordinated flight plans.
The Capital High Command urges relevant units to intensify public awareness campaigns. They advise residents against buying or releasing kites, balloons, or any flying toys, and prohibit lighting and releasing sky lanterns. The public is also reminded not to use drones or other aerial vehicles without proper authorization.

These awareness efforts are concentrating on densely populated areas, industrial zones, apartment complexes, schools, tourist areas, and locations that typically host large gatherings. Particular focus is on polling stations and communes or wards with airports, such as Noi Bai commune (Noi Bai International Airport), Long Bien ward (Gia Lam airport), Hoa Lac commune (Hoa Lac airport), and Tran Phu commune (Mieu Mon airport), to prevent potential threats to flight safety.
Police forces and the Military Command of communes and wards are tasked with coordinating with relevant departments and organizations. They will establish patrols to closely monitor flight activities in their areas, promptly detect and strictly address any violations, and report findings to the Ha Noi Capital High Command and the City Police.
Regarding security for election day, the Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee has also announced a temporary suspension of the pedestrian street activities around Ho Guom and the Ha Noi Old Quarter. This closure will be in effect from 13/3 until 19h on 20/3, aiming to ensure election activities proceed safely, smoothly, and in accordance with regulations. The Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian street, which Ha Noi launched on 1/9/2016, typically operates from 19h friday to 24h sunday each week, with summer hours starting at 18h.
