On the morning of 26/12, the Standing Board of the Hanoi Party Committee announced personnel decisions. Tran Thanh Ha (50), a member of the City Party Committee and Chief of the Party Committee Office, was transferred to the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and City People's Council, assuming the role of its chief.
The Standing Board of the City Party Committee welcomed Major General Nguyen Thanh Long (47), a member of the Party Committee's Standing Board and deputy director of Hanoi City Police, who was seconded to the Party Committee Office as its chief.

Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc stated that both appointees have served in various roles and work environments, demonstrating extensive practical experience, achievements, strong political resolve, innovative thinking, and a decisive, responsible approach, willing to take initiative and accountability for the common good.
According to the Party Committee Secretary, Tran Thanh Ha has worked at both central and local levels, gaining significant experience in office administration. His career includes roles at the Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Office, Muong Ang District Party Committee, Ministry of Finance Office, Department of Financial Planning, City Party Committee Organization Department, and the City Party Committee Office since 11/2021. In 2021, the President awarded him the second-class Labor Order.
Major General Nguyen Thanh Long has served with the City Police since graduating from the People's Security Academy. His career includes advisory roles and serving as Chief of Nam Tu Liem District Police before his appointment as deputy director of City Police in 7/2022. During his service, he and the City Police leadership achieved many accomplishments, contributing to maintaining political security and social order in the capital. The President has recognized his contributions with two second-class Feat of Arms Orders and one third-class Feat of Arms Order.
Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc emphasized that the Standing Board's decision to transfer and appoint the two officials reflects work requirements and high trust in their capabilities, qualities, and contributions. The Standing Committee and the Standing Board of the City Party Committee are confident that in their new roles, both officials will uphold their responsibilities, leverage their experience, maintain principles, discipline, internal solidarity, and successfully complete their assigned tasks.
The Hanoi Party Committee Secretary urged Tran Thanh Ha and Nguyen Thanh Long to immediately commence their duties with urgency and high determination. They are expected to enhance their coordinating role, ensure work progress and quality, and contribute strategic advisory alongside the agency's leadership, officials, civil servants, and employees.
