On 17/9, the Hanoi People's Committee Office issued Announcement No. 585, detailing the conclusions of Vice Chairman Nguyen Manh Quyen at a working session on tourism development projects, including the Hanoi Beer Museum project.
The Department of Education and Training will lead the project, coordinating with the Department of Planning and Architecture, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ngoc Ha Ward People's Committee, and other relevant units to review the land fund for high school construction. If an alternative location can be found, the land at 183 Hoang Hoa Tham will be prioritized for the Hanoi Beer Museum. If sufficient land is unavailable, authorities will consider adjusting the southern route to separate the museum and school projects.

The Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Habeco (Hanoi Beer Alcohol and Beverage Corporation), will finalize the project proposal, gather feedback, and report to the city, aiming for completion in Quarter 4 of 2025. The Department of Finance will guide Habeco through the investment procedures, and the Department of Planning and Architecture will lead the consultation for adjusting the H1-2 sub-area plan.
According to the H1-2 sub-area plan approved in 3/2021, the Hanoi Beer Factory site, after relocation, will be designated for mixed-use development, including public facilities, a high school, green spaces, housing, and parking. Previously, in 8/2023, the city decided to include the Hanoi Beer Factory in the list of 9 facilities to be relocated in the first phase over the next 5 years.
