The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting stated that from this afternoon to tonight, weather patterns causing rain, such as the remnants of Typhoon Kajiki and the humid southeast wind, will no longer affect Hanoi. The rain will cease, and some areas will see sunshine. From midnight to the morning of 28/8, some places may experience intermittent light rain, followed by clear skies.
On 29/8, Hanoi will generally experience little rain, facilitating preparations for the grand celebration. From the afternoon of 29/8 to the end of 30/8, there will be rain in Hanoi. However, the rainfall is not expected to be as heavy or cause flooding as severe as on 25/8.

During the holiday, on the night of 1/9 and the morning of 2/9, Hanoi may experience light rain. The weather is expected to clear up after 8 a.m. This means the ceremonies at Ba Dinh Square between 6-8 a.m. on 2/9, including the traditional torch procession, flag-raising ceremony, declaration of reasons, introduction of delegates, and speeches by Party and State leaders, might be affected by the rain.
Accuweather forecasts that the temperature in Hanoi this evening will be 25-27 degrees Celsius, with the chance of rain decreasing to below 20%. On 30/8, the temperature will be 26-32 degrees Celsius, with a 55% chance of rain, mainly at night. On 2/9, Hanoi will see temperatures between 28-34 degrees Celsius.
The meteorological agency advises people to regularly monitor updates from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting for the latest information to assist with their daily activities and travel plans in the coming days.
On 2/9, Vietnam will hold a grand celebration and parade to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (A80) at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi. The parade will include a full complement of forces, with ground troops, mechanized forces, air, and naval units. The parade will involve nearly 16,000 people, comprising 43 marching blocks, 18 stationary blocks, and 14 blocks of military and special forces vehicles and artillery from the Army and Police.
