Khanh Hoa adds social housing project worth over 1,300 billion VND

The Hung Phu 2 social housing project in Bac Nha Trang ward, with a total investment exceeding 1,300 billion VND, commenced construction on 9/1, adding over 1,000 apartments for workers.

The project is being built on a plot of land nearly 6,900 m2 in size, featuring 30 above-ground floors and one basement level, providing approximately 1,062 apartments. The housing complex is planned with integrated facilities such as: a commercial center, a kindergarten, a supermarket, a community area, and a sports zone.

Hung Phu 2 is located in the central area of old Nha Trang City, near Vinh Hai market, Po Nagar Cham Towers, and approximately 800 m from Nha Trang beach (Hon Chong scenic area).

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Lam Dong, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, stated that the locality is attracting many industrial park and service projects. This influx has led to a rapid increase in the workforce, consequently driving up demand for social housing.

He requested the investor to ensure construction quality, progress, and labor safety. Mr. Dong also affirmed that the province would accompany and support in resolving difficulties to ensure the project's effective implementation.

Three weeks ago, Khanh Hoa also broke ground on a social housing project for public security forces in Nam Nha Trang ward, with a total investment of nearly 2,600 billion VND. This project spans about 5.58 ha and comprises 8 blocks of 12-15 stories high, including 7 social housing blocks with approximately 1,570 apartments, designed to accommodate about 4,500 officers, soldiers, and their families. Completion is anticipated in QIII/2029.

According to targets set by the Prime Minister, Khanh Hoa province must complete 10,088 social housing units for the 2025-2030 period.
