The pavilion is divided into six areas: a central area, four thematic display areas, and a reception area. The open-plan layout allows visitors easy access and a seamless experience. The central area is modeled after the Huu Nghi International Border Gate, symbolizing Lang Son's strategic border location and its role in international trade.

The thematic display areas are designed as circular blocks, symbolizing the "bamboo ramparts of the border," evoking resilience and defiance. According to a representative from the Lang Son Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, this design represents the unity between the army and the people in protecting the border. The exhibition also features an administrative map and a model of Boundary Marker 1116, located at the Huu Nghi International Border Gate. Displayed prominently, the marker symbolizes national sovereignty.

It's an opportunity for Lang Son to affirm its growth as a dynamic and integrated regional center with a rich cultural identity in the Northeast, a bright spot for socio-economic development at the nation's frontier. Provincial leaders hope the exhibition will attract tourists and businesses to Lang Son, driving further development.
