Outside the exhibition center, Viettel showcased a long-range, multi-purpose UAV developed and manufactured in-house. This strategic-level UAV is capable of real-time reconnaissance, target designation, electronic warfare, communication relay, and attack missions thanks to its multi-payload capacity.
With its long endurance and extensive range, the UAV can operate in diverse terrains, from inland and border regions to maritime and island environments, even under challenging weather conditions.

The UAV-50, manufactured by Z113 Factory, is designed for aerial firefighting, enhancing safety for firefighters in hazardous areas. It measures 2,500 × 2,500 × 600 mm, has a maximum weight of 50 kg, a 5 km operating radius, a 15-minute flight time with full payload, and an effective firing range of approximately 30 m.
The UAV-50's ability to reach high and confined spaces inaccessible to conventional firefighting equipment makes it valuable for fire suppression, rescue, and recovery operations.

The Horus UAV, commemorating the 80th National Day, is a long-range observation aircraft capable of vertical takeoff and landing. It weighs 10-12 kg, has a maximum payload of 1 kg, a communication range of 15-20 km, and a flight time of 1.5-2 hours.
Its maneuverability and wide operating range make the Horus suitable for reconnaissance, area surveillance, and search and rescue missions.

Also featured was the QXL.01 combat UAV, manufactured by Z131 Factory. Its quadcopter design enables vertical takeoff and landing, facilitating deployment in complex terrain. Weighing approximately 8 kg and carrying a 1.2 kg armor-piercing warhead, it can penetrate steel up to 250 mm thick.
The QXL.01 reaches speeds of 60–80 km/h, has a service ceiling of 1,000 m, and a 10 km operating range, with a target attack accuracy within 2 m. Compared to the fixed-wing BXL.01, the QXL.01 is more versatile, rapidly deployable, and suited for operations in confined areas and complex terrains.

In addition to the UAVs, various military equipment such as missiles, tanks, and fighter jets were also showcased on a large scale in the outdoor area of the National Exhibition Center.
The 80th Anniversary of National Achievements Exhibition, spanning nearly 260,000 m2, is the largest to date. It brought together 34 provinces and cities, 28 ministries and sectors, and over 230 booths from 106 state-owned and private enterprises. The event opened at 1 PM on 28/8 and continued daily from 9 AM to 10 PM until 5/9.
