Yesterday afternoon, a 28-year-old man discovered a strange object, suspected to be an exposed artillery shell, while working in the hilly area of Phu Thanh village. He then brought the item to the communal police station for surrender.
Tuy An Nam communal police recorded the incident, sealed the object, and reported it to specialized forces for proper handling.
Authorities advise residents that if they find objects suspected to be bombs, mines, or ammunition remnants from the war, they should not touch or move them. Instead, they must promptly report them to local authorities or functional forces to ensure safety.
