Around 6:40 p.m., near the turn opposite 93 Nguyen Luong Bang street, Dong Da ward, a man on a motorcycle made a U-turn into the oncoming lane. He then collided with a four-seat car. Following the impact, both the man and his motorcycle were dragged under the vehicle, which only stopped after traveling a short distance.

A representative from Traffic Police Team No. 3, Hanoi Traffic Police Department, stated that the victim died at the scene and the motorcycle was damaged. The identities of both the driver and the victim have not been released.

Earlier that morning, on Cau Giay street, Cau Giay ward, another accident occurred, resulting in the death of a 19-year-old man from Nghe An. Dashcam footage showed the victim riding a motorcycle at high speed, colliding with another motorcycle traveling in the same direction, falling onto the road, and then being struck by an approaching car.
