Ministry of science and technology corrects information on 2025 civil servant recruitment

The ministry of science and technology recently issued a notice correcting information in the appendix of notice no. 449/TB-BKHCN dated 12/12/2025 regarding the recruitment of civil servants in 2025 under decree 179/2024/ND-CP.

According to the Ministry of Science and Technology, a technical error occurred in the Appendix of Recruitment Notice No. 449, issued on 12/12/2025. This error concerned the recruitment target for the Digital Economy and Society Department. Specifically, at serial number 4, the "Unit" column listed "Digital Economy and Society Department (two targets)", but the "Recruitment Target" column incorrectly showed "one".

The Ministry of Science and Technology clarified that the Digital Economy and Society Department has two recruitment targets for the specialist position in information technology management. This role encompasses the information technology industry, information technology applications, and digital transformation, with job code 01.003.

Applicants must hold a university degree or higher in the following fields: computer science; information technology; electrical, electronic, and telecommunications engineering technology; mathematics; statistics; or in fields such as: economics; investment economics; development economics; international economics; economic statistics; mathematical economics; digital economics; international relations; sociology; international studies; multimedia communication; mass communication; communication technology; international communication; public relations; information management; business administration; international business; commercial business; e-commerce; finance - banking; financial technology; accounting; auditing; management science; public management; management information systems; project management; law; economic law; international law.

Applicants must also be proficient in one of the following foreign languages: English, Russian, French, German, or Chinese, at a level equivalent to level 3 of the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework.

The Ministry of Science and Technology stated that this correction ensures the consistency of data in the Appendix of Notice No. 449/TB-BKHCN. The corrected information has been sent to relevant units and published on the Ministry's communication channels.
