According to initial information, around 6 am, a tractor-trailer with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate, driven by Nguyen Quoc Dao (35, residing in Khanh Hoa), was traveling on National Highway 14, part of Ho Chi Minh Road, in the direction of Nhan Co to Ho Chi Minh City when it unexpectedly collided with the rear of a Dak Lak-plated truck traveling in the same direction.

The powerful impact forced the truck to swerve across to the left shoulder, where it struck two motorbikes traveling in the opposite lane. Both motorbikes sustained heavy damage, and debris was scattered across the road.

Dinh Thi Oanh, 39, from Nhan Co commune, who was riding alone, died at the scene. Two unidentified individuals on a Dak Lak-plated motorbike sustained severe injuries and died later.
