Prime Minister Le Minh Hung is scheduled to present to the National Assembly the proposed structure and number of government members, along with a list of candidates for deputy prime ministers, ministers, and other government positions. Following deliberations, the National Assembly will electronically vote to approve the structure and conduct a secret ballot to confirm the appointments, subsequently passing related resolutions.
During the same morning session, the National Assembly will also approve the President's nominations for deputy chairpersons and members of the National Defense and Security Council. Additionally, it will confirm the appointment of Supreme People's Court judges as proposed by the Chief Justice.
This session follows the National Assembly's proceedings on 7/4, when Le Minh Hung was elected Prime Minister for the 2026-2031 term. On that day, the National Assembly also approved the new government's organizational structure, comprising 14 ministries and three ministerial-level agencies.

The current deputy prime ministers include Nguyen Hoa Binh, Tran Hong Ha, Le Thanh Long, Ho Duc Phuoc, Bui Thanh Son, Nguyen Chi Dung, Mai Van Chinh, Ho Quoc Dung, and Pham Thi Thanh Tra.
Among these, Pham Thi Thanh Tra and Ho Quoc Dung are members of the 14th Party Central Committee, while the other seven deputy prime ministers are not part of this committee.
The incumbent government members include Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung, Minister of Home Affairs Do Thanh Binh, Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh, Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung, Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Duc Thang, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung, Acting Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan, Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religion Dao Ngoc Dung, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son, and Inspector General of the Government Doan Hong Phong.
Five ministers and heads of sectors are not members of the 14th Central Committee: Nguyen Van Hung, Nguyen Manh Hung, Dao Ngoc Dung, Tran Van Son, and Doan Hong Phong.
In the afternoon, the National Assembly will hear presentations and appraisal reports on several draft laws, including the revised Capital Law, the law amending and supplementing articles of the Emulation and Commendation Law, and the revised Law on Belief and Religion. Additionally, a draft resolution concerning coordination mechanisms and specific policies for resolving international investment disputes will be presented before being discussed in groups.
