On 17/9, Market Management Team No. 3 (Gia Lai Province Market Management Department) and provincial police conducted a surprise inspection of a sausage production facility on Tran Hung Dao Street, Quy Nhon ward.

The facility had machinery and cold storage for sausage production and packaging. However, on the 4th and 5th floors, authorities found nearly 100 plastic barrels filled with pig skin and fat, emitting a foul odor. Expired additives were also found in the facility's storage area.

Inspectors requested documentation from the owner regarding the origin of the ingredients, production conditions, and the legality of the additives. All ingredients, additives, and finished products are being inventoried and categorized for appropriate disposal.
