Provincial leaders awarded memorandums of understanding for a renewable energy project (3.2 trillion VND), an industrial park infrastructure construction and business project (3 trillion VND), and a high-tech agricultural project in Gia Lai (475 billion VND) to the Vietnam Rubber Group; and a renewable energy development and construction project (4.5 trillion VND) to Duc Long Gia Lai Group.
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Gia Lai PPC, committed to providing the most favorable conditions and working alongside businesses with five shared principles: listening together, discussing together, implementing together, sharing results together, and overcoming difficulties together.
The province is focusing on three breakthrough stages: improving management capacity; building an innovative, streamlined, and efficient government to improve competitiveness; and creating breakthroughs in transportation, irrigation, logistics, industrial, and digital infrastructure. Priority is given to projects connecting the Central Highlands region with the delta and coastal areas.
Gia Lai is concentrating on developing processing, manufacturing, renewable energy, and green industries. It is placing special emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI) and the semiconductor industry in conjunction with the regional innovation center.
The province aims to make tourism a key economic sector, exploiting the advantages of the natural landscape (sea, mountains, and forests) and the unique cultural heritage of the Central Highlands and Champa. Gia Lai is also developing high-tech agriculture and sustainable forestry, building concentrated material areas to increase product value.
