The newspaper should serve as a "vanguard unit", a "shield", and a "sensor station" for sharp, firm, agile, and insightful information gathering, provision, and guidance. The General Secretary specifically noted that the newspaper must adhere to its principles, objectives, and target audience. It must promptly and resolutely combat fake news, malicious, and distorted information, while also spreading kindness, positivity, and good values in society.

Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh mentioned that Nhan Dan is a leading press agency in digital transformation, having been listed among the top 10 central press agencies for excellent digital transformation for two consecutive years, 2024-2025. The newspaper has implemented numerous positive changes in its converged newsroom, applying modern journalism technology, making Nhan Dan accessible everywhere and at all times, guided by the motto: "Wherever there are people, there is Nhan Dan newspaper."

Entering a new era, Nhan Dan newspaper must continue to uphold its traditions, identity, and standing as a mainstream political newspaper. Concurrently, Nhan Dan newspaper needs to maintain the rigor, honesty, objectivity, and depth of its information. It must also uphold firm and subtle guidance in all circumstances, ensure widespread and modern accessibility across platforms, and provide practical, constructive criticism, always oriented towards the broad masses of people.
