Numerous cars submerged by floods in Nha Trang

Heavy rain and rising floodwaters left hundreds of cars stranded on central Nha Trang streets, with many awaiting rescue on the morning of 20/11.

On the morning of 20/11, the Go! supermarket area and Vinh Diem Trung urban area in Tay Nha Trang ward experienced severe flooding, with hundreds of oto stalled as floodwaters rose to nearly one meter. Many vehicles were seen floating within the Vinh Diem Trung urban area. A stalled truck also lay along 19/5 street near the Go! supermarket.

Floodwaters inundated an oto showroom on 23/10 street with nearly one meter of water. Many businesses along this route have been closed for the past three days.

Adjacent to the Vinh Diem Trung urban area, 23/10 street, a vital arterial road and western gateway to Nha Trang, was completely submerged, with floodwaters reaching the roofs of oto. A funeral service vehicle was surrounded by floodwaters on this street. An oto showroom on 23/10 street was also inundated with nearly one meter of water, forcing many businesses along the route to close for the past three days.

Some oto were swept away below the Ngoc Hoi interchange, Nam Nha Trang ward.

At the Ngoc Hoi interchange in Nam Nha Trang ward, numerous oto were trapped in the floodwaters, while some were swept away. Hundreds of vehicles were parked above the interchange in an attempt to avoid the rising water.
