The railway industry reported that trains SE7 from Ha Noi, SE6 from Sai Gon, and SE21/SE22 originating from Da Nang and Sai Gon, were temporarily halted.
On 17 and 18/11, the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company canceled an additional six trains due to rising floodwaters in the South Central region. As of 9 am today, 10 passenger trains were suspended. Passengers are eligible for free ticket exchanges or refunds within 30 days at any station.

Torrential rains since 16/11 have submerged several railway sections across Gia Lai province (formerly Binh Dinh) and Khanh Hoa province by 0,2-0,4 m. Runoff from upstream also carried soil and rocks, burying parts of the tracks.
Last night and this morning, Da Nang and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa continued to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall, with some areas recording over 160 mm in 8 hours. The Ha Thanh River's water level rose close to alarm level 3.

Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, activated flood response scenario level 3.1 for 58 communes and wards in the eastern part of the province. He mandated the evacuation of all residents from low-lying areas, riverbanks, streams, and areas at high risk of landslides.
