On the afternoon of 21/6, a container truck transporting motorbikes from Vinh Phuc to Da Nang unexpectedly caught fire while traveling on the Ben Thuy 2 bridge. The incident occurred around 3 PM in the section of the bridge passing through Truong Vinh ward in Nghe An province, with flames erupting from the rear of the trailer.

The truck was carrying over 100 motorbikes, primarily Honda SH models, along with other types of vehicles. Within minutes of the fire starting, the blaze rapidly intensified, completely engulfing the entire trailer. A column of thick black smoke rose tens of meters into the sky, visible from a distance.
In response to the emergency, fire and rescue police from both Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces were dispatched to the scene. Numerous officers, soldiers, and specialized firefighting vehicles arrived to combat the intense blaze and bring it under control.
Fortunately, the fire caused no human casualties. However, all motorbikes on the container trailer were completely destroyed by the inferno. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire to determine how it started.
