After the collision, the container truck and one 5-seater car plunged into the ravine on the right side of the road. The container truck fell about 30 meters, stopped by large trees, while the car lay 15 meters from the edge of the ravine. The remaining vehicles sustained damage, and several meters of guardrail along National Highway 20 were knocked down.
According to authorities, a total of 10 people were in the four vehicles involved in the accident. All were safe.
In the early hours of 21/6, rescue forces managed to winch the 5-seater car out of the ravine. However, the container truck, due to its heavy load and complex position, could not yet be recovered. Recovery efforts will continue when conditions ensure safety.
