The pork lacked documentation proving its origin, wasn't logged, and had no labels indicating its source. Officials noted the meat had changed color, emitted a foul odor, and displayed spots on the ears, tails, legs, bellies, and chests. The total value of the shipment was nearly 18.4 billion VND.
According to Regional Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station I, the entire quantity of meat posed a risk of spreading disease and harming livestock, crops, and the environment, necessitating its destruction.
