Vietnam Railways has announced a temporary halt to train services entering central Hanoi (the Hanoi - Giap Bat section) from 8:10 PM to 11:00 PM on 27/8, from 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM on 30/8, and on 2/9. These times coincide with rehearsals and the official ceremony for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (A80).
During these periods, north-south trains will stop and pick up passengers at Giap Bat station instead of Hanoi station. At other times, trains traveling from Giap Bat to Hanoi station will reduce their speed to below 10 km/h for safety.

During the anniversary celebrations, Vietnam Railways will deploy staff to coordinate with police along the railway line from Lane 222 Le Duan to the intersection of Giai Phong and Dai Co Viet streets to guide people away from the tracks during the parades.
For the National Day holiday, the railway sector has also adjusted the departure and arrival points for trains on the Hanoi - Hai Phong and Hanoi - Lao Cai lines.
Specifically, the Hanoi - Hai Phong line will terminate and depart from Long Bien and Gia Lam stations. Trains SP3 and SP4 to Lao Cai will depart from and arrive at Gia Lam station.
