Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung stated that the launch of these 10 projects, part of a total of 21 key projects for APEC, not only aims to meet the conference's needs but also drives long-term development for Phu Quoc and the entire country.
He urged ministries, sectors, and localities to uphold the spirit of "walking the talk," striving to shorten the construction schedule and complete projects 3 to 6 months ahead of schedule.
"The projects must ensure the highest quality, creating a beautiful and impressive image of Vietnam and Phu Quoc for international friends," the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized. He also reminded authorities and investors to address the needs of residents affected by land clearance, ensuring their new housing and employment are equal to or better than before.
