On 19/8, working groups of the Politburo, chaired by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, met with the standing boards of Khanh Hoa and Nghe An provincial party committees. Working group 4, chaired by Permanent Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, worked with the standing boards of Da Nang city and Quang Ninh province party committees.
The working groups reviewed draft resolutions, leadership performance reports, innovations in leadership methods, and new approaches in directing tasks. They also provided feedback on personnel plans, focusing on the size of executive committees, standing boards, personnel criteria, and organizational structure as per Politburo regulations.

Concluding the meetings, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and Permanent Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu acknowledged the achievements of the party committees and praised the thorough and scientific preparations for the congresses, reflecting a high level of responsibility and determination.
They asked the localities to incorporate the feedback to finalize documents, adhering to the central government's direction and considering the overall development context, especially the new opportunities presented by the two-tier local government model. The provincial and city party committees were also urged to learn from past shortcomings and implement effective preventive measures for the next term.
The Politburo requested that localities develop action plans to implement congress resolutions, with specific tasks, solutions, and feasible timelines to ensure the resolutions are put into practice.
The Politburo will continue working with central party committees until 15/9. The congresses of these party committees must be completed before 31/10. The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam is scheduled for January 2026, with 1,588 delegates, including 165 members of the 13th Central Committee, 353 elected delegates, and 1,070 appointed delegates.
