Operating from 26/8 to 2/9, the center will manage press activities related to the anniversary celebrations, including the August revolution and national day parade (A80), and provide information to journalists.
The center's regular hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be open from 2 p.m. until the end of the preliminary rehearsal on 27/8. During the two general rehearsals (29/8-30/8) and the anniversary celebrations (1/9-2/9), the center will be open from 6 p.m. until the end of the programs.

1,390 reporters, editors, and technicians from 171 domestic news agencies and 150 reporters from 50 international news agencies have registered to cover the A80 celebrations.
Le Hai Binh, deputy minister of culture, sports, and tourism, stated that this is the largest number of reporters and news agencies ever accommodated in a press center for national events. The center will provide full support for reporters covering the anniversary activities.
