Hundreds of modern military vehicles accompanied the troops past the reviewing stand. Some of this equipment, including missiles, UAVs, and armored vehicles, either researched and produced domestically or modernized, are expected to feature in the A80 (80th National Day) celebrations.

The special forces officer unit, under the command of the Special Forces Arm, marched on Cua Nam street. Established in 1967, this force specializes in "special operations", infiltrating deep into enemy territory. All personnel are carefully selected, standing at least 1.75 m tall, with unit leaders and flag bearers at least 1.8 m tall, and demonstrating excellent discipline and conduct. Photo: Quynh Tran

Citizens held up a sign reading "Amazing, our Fatherland!" after the rehearsal concluded. The state-level preliminary rehearsal is scheduled for the evening of 27/8, and the state-level general rehearsal will take place on the morning of 30/8, before the official event on 2/9.
