Around 9:45 AM, the nearly 10-meter-wide, 5-meter-high Viettel Store signboard at the Y Wang – Le Duan intersection in Ea Kao ward suddenly collapsed, causing panic among staff and customers who rushed to exit the store.

The signboard blocked the exit, falling onto several motorbikes and cars parked in front. A 61-year-old woman, who had just left the store, was struck by the metal frame and sustained severe injuries.

Bystanders and her son rushed the victim to the emergency room. Witnesses reported strong winds in the area at the time of the incident.
