Around 5 PM, a fire erupted in the kitchen of a five-story house, nearly 60 square meters in size, located on a small street off Ly Chinh Thang street. Occupants of the house and neighbors attempted to extinguish the flames, but were unsuccessful.

Thick black smoke trapped six family members on the upper floors, causing them to become overcome by smoke inhalation. They desperately called for help.

Four fire trucks and nearly 20 firefighters arrived at the scene. Firefighters used hoses to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to a car parked near the source of the flames.

The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes. There were no casualties, but much of the house's contents were destroyed.
