Armored officers posed for photos with residents on the street. The armored corps is a combat arm and a key assault force of the Vietnam People's Army. Formed in 1959 with the establishment of the first tank regiment (202nd Tank Regiment), it later expanded into numerous regiments and battalions. The corps participated in many campaigns and battles in the southern region, including Ta May - Lang Vay (1968), Dong Ha, Dac To, Tan Canh, Loc Ninh (1972), Cua Viet (1973), Phuoc Long, Buon Ma Thuot, and the liberation of Saigon (1975). According to the plan, at 8 p.m. today, over 16,300 soldiers, comprising 43 marching units, 18 stationary units, and units of military artillery vehicles and special police forces, will arrive at Ba Dinh Square for the second rehearsal.
Reporting team
