Representatives from the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command said they anticipated a large number of domestic and international visitors and adjusted the opening hours earlier, from 7:30 to 12:00.
This morning, 19,630 people visited the Mausoleum, including 2,717 international tourists. On 19/5 (President Ho Chi Minh's birthday), the number of visitors also reached nearly 18,000.
The Mausoleum Command also increased personnel at various points to assist visitors, especially veterans, the elderly, and children in the queuing area, ensuring order and safety. "We are coordinating with the Hanoi Youth Union to distribute free snacks and water to help people avoid fatigue and dehydration while waiting in large crowds," a representative said.

The number of visitors to the Mausoleum also increased rapidly, coinciding with the parade and march rehearsals. In the four days from 26/8 to 28/8, approximately 12,000 people visited.
The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is located within the Ba Dinh historical and cultural complex, along with the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site (including the Presidential Palace, stilt house, house 67, and Uncle Ho's fish pond) and the Ho Chi Minh Museum. The Mausoleum is open to visitors on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings.
On 2/9, Vietnam will hold a ceremony, parade, and march to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (A80) at Ba Dinh Square. The parade will include ground troops, mechanized forces, air, and naval units. This afternoon, the Mausoleum Command will close to the public to prepare for the parade and march.
