A truck caught fire on Tran Thu Do street in Hanoi's Hoang Liet ward on 20/12, prompting a rapid response from emergency services. The incident, which occurred around 14:40, saw flames quickly engulfing the vehicle.
The truck was traveling near the NO 4 building in the Phap Van Urban Area when its front section suddenly ignited. Upon realizing the danger, the driver promptly exited the cabin and alerted nearby residents, urging them to assist in extinguishing the blaze.

Despite the driver's efforts, the fire intensified and spread rapidly. Firefighting forces arrived at the scene to find the entire front of the truck engulfed in flames, which had also extended to a portion of the rear compartment. Firefighters deployed water streams, successfully bringing the inferno under complete control. The incident drew a crowd of onlookers, causing temporary traffic disruption on both sides of the road.
Fortunately, the fire resulted in no human casualties. At the time of the incident, the truck's compartment was empty. However, the front of the vehicle was completely destroyed, leaving only its charred frame. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
