Around 4 pm, a Lam Dong-registered truck carrying 4 tons of seafood and driven by a 37-year-old man, with two women also on board, was traveling from Vung Tau to Phan Thiet. As it approached the Cam Binh market area in Phuoc Hoi ward, the truck overturned and slid onto the roadside.

Those inside the truck screamed for help. Nearby residents rushed to the scene, pried open the doors, and rescued the driver and one woman from the cabin. They were taken to the hospital. A 34-year-old woman, trapped inside, died at the scene.

Police dispatched an excavator to lift the overturned truck and retrieve the body. They are investigating the cause of the accident. The accident occurred on a steep curve.
