Dong Hoi Airport will be closed from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Tho Xuan Airport from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on 25/8 to ensure the safety of passengers, assets, and equipment.
In response to the typhoon, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has requested agencies and units to maintain 24-hour operations, inspect airport infrastructure, and communication systems to promptly detect and address any damage, ensuring the safety of facilities and operations.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting reports that from 25/8 to 31/8, northern Vietnam will experience showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some areas. On 25/8, due to the typhoon's influence, the midlands and delta regions can expect moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, with very heavy rain in some locations.
From 25/8 to 31/8, central Vietnam will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some areas, mainly in the afternoon and evening. On 25/8, due to the typhoon's impact, the Thanh Hoa - north Quang Tri region will experience very heavy rain, while south Quang Tri - Hue will see moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, with very heavy rain in some places.
Four airports are forecast to be affected by Typhoon Kajiki: Tho Xuan, Vinh, Dong Hoi, and Phu Bai (Hue).
