Around 2 am, a fire erupted from the motorbike parking area on the ground floor of a three-story, 40 square meter house in alley 8, Tan Da street, Ha Dong ward. Although the fire's footprint was not large, smoke and toxic gases rapidly ascended the staircase, trapping two people on the 3rd floor.

Approximately three minutes after receiving the emergency call, Firefighting and Rescue Team Area 15 dispatched two fire trucks and 12 officers and firefighters to the scene. Firefighting and Rescue Team Area 4 later reinforced the effort with two additional fire trucks.

Fire police split into two teams: one focused on extinguishing the fire on the ground floor, while the other searched for and rescued individuals amidst thick smoke. Firefighters extinguished the blaze by 2:25 am. Police safely brought the two trapped individuals downstairs, noting their stable health condition.

At the scene, much property on the ground floor was destroyed by the fire, and walls were blackened by smoke. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
