Vietnam Vibes contest extends submission and voting deadlines to 5/9

Vietnam Vibes by Vietravel has extended the submission and voting deadlines to 5/9 to fully capture the festive atmosphere from a wider range of participants, both domestic and international.

In nearly a month, the contest has attracted hundreds of submissions from across Vietnam, including photos and videos capturing emotional everyday moments, reflecting patriotism and national pride.

Submissions increased significantly as the original deadline approached. Many participants expressed a desire for more time to refine their work and capture images from the National Day celebrations, a major milestone in 2025, commemorating 80 years of Vietnamese independence.

The organizers extended the deadline to 5/9 to meet this demand, encouraging participation with authentic materials from the festivities. This extension also aims to create a more comprehensive picture of Vietnam and its people today, as seen through the eyes of residents from various regions and international friends.

Despite the extension, the contest criteria and voting mechanisms remain unchanged to ensure fairness. Submissions received before the extension will continue to be voted on as before. New submissions after the original deadline of 23/8 will have the same voting period, ending on 5/9.

The organizers confirmed that the results will be based on two factors: public votes and the jury's evaluation.

During the National Day celebrations on 2/9, with various commemorative activities taking place nationwide, people can capture and share this special atmosphere. From parades and fireworks to art performances and family reunions, all can become meaningful submissions, enriching the visual archive of a developing and modernizing Vietnam.

The Vietnam Vibes by Vietravel prizes also remain the same, with a total of eight prizes across two categories (photo and video), each with four prizes:

First Prize: 10 million VND and a Vietravel travel voucher worth 10 million VND (total value: 20 million VND).

Second Prize: 5 million VND and a Vietravel travel voucher worth 10 million VND (total value: 15 million VND).

Third Prize: 2 million VND and a Vietravel travel voucher worth 5 million VND (total value: 7 million VND).

Consolation Prize: A Vietravel travel voucher worth 5 million VND for the most shared submission on social media or the most liked on the program's website.

After 5/9, all entries will be compiled, finalists announced, and judging will commence. The final results are expected to be announced in September.

Launched on 23/7, Vietnam Vibes by Vietravel has attracted numerous submissions portraying diverse images of the country. These range from a sunset atop the Bitexco Financial Tower with the national flag flying, symbolizing Ho Chi Minh City's modern development, to children in traditional Ao Dai, demonstrating the enduring cultural heritage.

Many young participants see the contest as a chance to connect their national pride with creative expression. Older generations have also chosen to preserve simple, everyday moments filled with love for their homeland. This diversity has made Vietnam Vibes by Vietravel a converging point, reflecting multiple layers of values, from traditional to modern, individual to collective.
