Around 6 p.m., a fire erupted inside the wood and picture frame manufacturing workshop. Due to the workshop containing numerous flammable materials, the blaze quickly consumed the entire facility. The fire created a column of flames and smoke rising dozens of meters high.
Nguyen Duy Ngoc, an eyewitness, stated that the fire initially produced only black smoke before fiercely erupting. The acrid smell was detectable hundreds of meters away. "I have never witnessed such a large fire", Ngoc said.
A leader from the Dan Phuong Commune People's Committee reported that initial assessments confirmed no human casualties. The estimated fire area was about 200 square meters.
By 8:20 p.m., Fire and Rescue Teams from Area 24 and Area 25 had largely brought the blaze under control.

Hanoi has experienced several significant fires this week. On the night of 7/1, a wood furniture workshop spanning over 200 square meters in Gieng village, Huu Bang commune, caught fire, destroying considerable property.
On the morning of 8/1, another fire at a combined residential and business property on Le Loi street, Ha Dong ward, resulted in three fatalities.
