Nguyen Thanh Dat, Senior Communications Director for Herbalife Vietnam, expressed the company's pride in its members' participation at the race's opening event. He highlighted their role as ambassadors for an active and healthy lifestyle.
Dat emphasized that sports are a journey, requiring daily training to achieve long-term health goals.
Marathon, in particular, is an accessible sport for everyone. Whether a professional athlete or an enthusiast, one only needs weather-appropriate attire, comfortable shoes, and mental and physical preparation to participate. This accessibility is why Herbalife prioritizes partnering with marathons. The VnExpress Marathon Vung Tau 2026 marks the 18th marathon race Herbalife has co-organized with VnExpress.

Dat expressed hope that through the VnExpress Marathon, Herbalife can collaborate to promote an active, healthy lifestyle. This encourages greater awareness of the importance of nutrition and exercise for daily well-being and strength.
He cited nutrition and health experts, who consistently recommend at least 30 minutes of daily exercise. "There is no shortcut to proactive healthcare," Dat emphasized.
Dat noted that while runners aim to push their limits for optimal results, the more crucial outcome after each race is to integrate this habit into daily life. "Dedicate some time to physical activity; choose a suitable sport, whether it's running, walking, badminton, or table tennis," he urged.
He observed that Vietnamese people "are very fond of sports," exemplified by their enthusiastic support for the national football team at the recent ASEAN Cup. However, "it is even more important to translate this passion for sports into action, thereby improving personal health and achieving long-term wellness goals," stated the Senior Communications Director for Herbalife Vietnam.
