After the press conference before the Vietnam - Cambodia match, coach Kim Sang-sik and midfielder Nguyen Hai Long took a photo, showing their determination ahead of the game.

Following the press conference, the Korean coach held Hai Long's hand, urging his player to re-enact the goal celebration against Indonesia. The Vietnam national team midfielder appeared hesitant and did not perform it. However, coach Kim still demonstrated the move twice for the media photographers, then patted his player's shoulder, playfully remarking that he was "not yet skilled".

After scoring to increase the lead to 2-0 in the match against Indonesia, midfielder Hai Long ran towards the Indonesian coaching staff and celebrated defiantly, spreading his arms and pointing to his sleeve, where a yellow logo was visible. This celebration became a sensation on social media, symbolizing Vietnam's stature, class, and strength. Afterward, players like Xuan Son and Hoang Hien often playfully mimicked this gesture in everyday life.

When asked about the celebration, Hai Long stated it was nothing special. "What's past is past; the players are looking forward to the next match against Cambodia", he added.

Coach Kim also drew attention at the press conference, jokingly remarking that Vietnam could not score in the match against Singapore because he was wearing a white shirt.

For the away match in Bakansari, coach Kim wore a lucky black shirt, and Vietnam achieved a resounding 3-0 victory. At the post-match press conference at Pakansari Stadium, the Korean coach joked that he had told his wife to discard all his white shirts at home. When coach Kim returned to the team after the press conference, assistant Nguyen Cong Manh even quipped, "Teacher, where did you throw your white shirt? I'd like to have it".

For tomorrow's match against Cambodia, coach Kim declared he would use the strongest lineup to win and maintain the top position in the group.
