On the evening of 14/4, on the occasion of his 30th birthday, Vu Van Thanh posted photos of his proposal to girlfriend Tran Bich Hanh, receiving many well wishes from friends and fans.

The Hanoi Police FC defender prepared a diamond ring, knelt to propose to his girlfriend on the beach, and received her acceptance. "A new age with a new role, new responsibilities. You are the most precious gift I've ever received," Van Thanh wrote. "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be by your side, to care for you, and to accompany you for the rest of our lives."

Born in 1994 in Hai Duong (now part of Hai Phong), Van Thanh developed his skills at the HAGL - Arsenal - JMG academy. He achieved success with Vietnam's U19 and U23 teams, and with the national team, he won the AFF Cup 2018 and reached the quarterfinals of the ASIAN Cup 2019.

He played for HAGL from 2015 to 2023 before moving to Hanoi to join Hanoi Police FC, with whom he won the V-League in 2023.

Tran Bich Hanh, born in 1994 in Nam Dinh, lives and works in Hanoi. She is known for her beauty and impressive fashion sense.

The couple had been dating since 2023 but kept their relationship private. They publicly confirmed their relationship in 2025.

Van Thanh often shows affection for his girlfriend, regularly giving her flowers and gifts on birthdays, Valentine's Day, and other special occasions.

They often share moments from their travels, appear together, and express their affection on social media.
