However, in the subsequent sets, Jiangsu solidified their lineup, displayed versatile play, and executed tight blocks, winning three consecutive sets with scores of 25-16, 25-21, and 25-21. The Chinese representative secured the first spot in the final, earning admiration from Tay Ninh fans.
The VTV9 - Binh Dien 2026 tournament marks its 15th occurrence, taking place from 15/5 to 23/5 at the Tay Ninh Provincial Competition Hall. Top Vietnamese women's volleyball teams participating include: hosts Binh Dien Long An, Binh Chung Thong Tin, VietinBank, LPBank Ninh Binh, and Ha Noi Tasco Auto. The three foreign teams are among Asia's leading clubs: Jiangsu (China), Suwon City (South Korea), and Gunma Green Wings (Japan).
The total prize fund for this year's tournament is 48,700 USD (approximately 1.2 billion VND). The champion team will receive 15,000 USD, the runner-up 10,000 USD, and the third-place team 7,000 USD. The organizers also award several individual prizes, including: best player, best spiker, best setter, best libero, best young athlete, most impressive young athlete, and "Miss Volleyball".
