Indonesia has selected Pakansari stadium in Cibinong, Bogor province, as its home ground for the ASEAN Cup 2026 group stage. The 30,000-seat venue will host matches against Timor Leste and Vietnam.

Should Indonesia advance to the semifinals and final, matches will relocate to the more familiar Bung Karno stadium, located 70 km away.

Pakansari, completed in 2015, is one of Indonesia's many international-standard football stadiums. Its 105x70 m natural grass pitch features a uniform lighting system. The stadium's dome design enhances acoustics during major matches.

Pakansari holds a history of challenging encounters for Vietnamese football. The national team suffered a 1-2 defeat to Indonesia here in the first leg of the AFF Cup 2016 semifinals. Additionally, during the ASIAD 2018 semifinals, Vietnam, led by coach Park Hang-seo, lost 1-3 to Korea, despite a spectacular free-kick from Minh Vuong.

The organizing committee rehearsed the teams' entrance ceremony and national anthems on the afternoon of 2/8.

At Pakansari, the technical areas for both teams feature plush, comfortable seating.

The tunnel serves as the entry and exit point for both teams and the refereeing crew.

The VIP area, designated for federation officials, guests, and sponsors, is carefully secured.

Vietnam currently sits third in Group A with 4 points, trailing Indonesia by 2 points and Singapore by 3 points. Captain Quang Hai (number 19) and his teammates must secure a win or at least a scoring draw to keep their semifinal aspirations alive.
