Last chance to run with 10,000 athletes at VnExpress Marathon Nha Trang 2026

VnExpress Marathon Nha Trang 2026 closes registration at 23:59 tonight, before focusing on operations to serve 10,000 athletes for race day on 9/8.

Late phase ticket prices, valid from 28/7 until 23:59 today, 2/8, are: 850,000 VND for the 5km distance, 1,100,000 VND for 10km, 1,350,000 VND for 21km, and 1,550,000 VND for 42km.

Group registrations of 20 or more athletes qualify for discounts ranging from 5% to 25%. Specifically: groups of 20 to 50 people receive a 5% discount; 51 to 100 people get 10%; 101 to 500 people get 15%; 501 to 1,000 people receive 20%; and groups of 1,001 or more people get the maximum discount of 25%.

Interested runners can register here.

This year marks the fifth season of the race since its debut in 2022. The course guides athletes along the Tran Phu coastal road, a symbol of Nha Trang. Participants in the 42km distance will have the opportunity to conquer Luong Son Pass, offering panoramic views of Nha Trang from above at 4 h before returning to the finish line.

2-4 Square on Tran Phu Street remains the familiar gathering point for VM Nha Trang, as it has been since the first season. This year, the start and finish lines for all four distances will again be located there. Notably, after being held at the Libera urban area last year, the race expo this year moves back to 2-4 Square, home to Tram Huong Tower.

Tram Huong Tower, which featured on the 2023 VM Nha Trang medal, returns this year, appearing alongside the Cham Po Klong Garai Tower on the front of the medal. This marks the first time Po Klong Garai Tower, a Cham structure over seven centuries old located on Trau Hill in Khanh Hoa, will be depicted on a VM Nha Trang medal.

This season's jersey incorporates Memphis Design, featuring alternating vertical stripes and geometric blocks of red, yellow, and blue on a mint green background. This unique style is rarely seen on race jerseys in Vietnam. Additionally, 21km and 42km runners will receive finisher shirts: a black shirt with magenta sleeves for the 21km distance and neon green sleeves for the 42km distance, both with the distance name printed vertically on the back.

Beyond the race, athletes can explore Khanh Hoa and its unique experiences as a South Central coastal city. Khanh Hoa is known as the country's largest swiftlet nest capital and is famous for its fresh seafood and diverse marine cuisine. Restaurants throughout the city center open early, ideal for runners needing to replenish energy after crossing the finish line.

August is Nha Trang beach's most beautiful season. Following race day on 9/8, athletes will have the rest of the day and the weekend to visit islands, swim, or stroll along Tran Phu Street. This route serves as both the race course and the city's central coastal road. This dual appeal is why VM Nha Trang consistently attracts a large number of runners from across the country each season, offering both a premier coastal running experience and a family-friendly travel destination.
