Dong Nai will host fireworks displays at 12 locations on the evening of 30/4, featuring two high-altitude and ten low-altitude shows, to mark 51 years of national reunification and its elevation to a centrally-governed city.

On 6/4, the Government issued a resolution approving the dossier for a plan to establish 10 wards within Dong Nai province, while also completing procedures to submit to the National Assembly for the establishment of Dong Nai as a centrally-governed city.

The Party Central Committee has approved the plan to establish Dong Nai as a centrally-governed city, with relevant agencies tasked to finalize documents for submission to the 16th National Assembly for consideration and decision at its early April session.
