1,000 fireworks illuminate Ha Long bay

1,000 fireworks with over 50 effects lit up the sky over Ha Long bay on the evening of 4/7, kicking off the "Shining Bay of Wonders" tourism series of events organized by Sun Group.

Tourists use their phones to capture the moment the fireworks illuminated the sky. Ms. Tuyet Mai, a tourist from Bac Ninh, said the light show was more beautiful than expected with a clear view and stunning effects. "I felt the atmosphere of a youthful and energetic Ha Long. I will definitely invite more friends back next weekend," she said.

At 9:15 pm, the entire Fireworks bay area within Sun Elite City began to glow. 1,000 fireworks with over 50 different effects, from smoke and water fireworks to firework howls, transformed the bay into a visual spectacle. Thousands of residents and tourists watched attentively, immersed in the vibrant atmosphere.

The firework show kicked off the "Shining Bay of Wonders" series of events organized by Sun Group, taking place every Friday and Saturday evening from 4/7 to 2/9.

Many tourists opted for a more luxurious experience, dining and watching the fireworks from a cruise on the bay. Light boats anchored along the Ha Long international passenger port area offered dinner, champagne, and prime firework viewing spots.

The firework festival enlivens the atmosphere at Sun Elite City. From 6:30 pm, the new version of the Vui-Fest night market opened its doors, attracting thousands of visitors. This year's Vui-Fest has been upgraded in both scale and quality of experience, with over 30 stalls extending into the Fireworks bay area, creating a seamless shopping, dining, and entertainment space close to the bay.

In addition to watching fireworks, visitors can enjoy a range of summer festival activities, from music and interactive experiences to food. Food stalls offering a variety of grilled skewers, seafood, traditional cakes, and drinks are the most popular attractions.

Standard firework viewing tickets cost 100,000 VND per person, free for children under one meter tall. From 4/7 to 31/7, tourists receive a 35% discount, reducing the price to 65,000 VND per ticket. Booking in advance through the Sun Paradise Land app lowers the price further to 50,000 VND.

The Fireworks bay area also seamlessly connects with Sun Group's resort and entertainment ecosystem in Ha Long. Tourists purchasing combos or buffet packages at these locations receive complimentary firework viewing tickets for Friday and Saturday evenings. Similar offers are available for guests staying at Oakwood Ha Long or using services at Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh.

Tourists check in at the night market and interact with the mascots. The space also features interactive clusters with mini-games and art balloons for children.

Tall "light robots" move through each area, creating a visual highlight and attracting visitors.

Street-style performances by young bands provide an additional experience for visitors.

With the high-altitude artistic firework system and the Vui-Fest night market, weekend evenings in Ha Long offer both relaxation and an exciting destination. A Sun Group representative hopes that this activity will enhance the city's vibrancy.
