The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (MCST) first appointed a tourism ambassador in 2011. Over 24 years, there have been 6 ambassadors. There are two ambassador titles: tourism ambassador of Vietnam and tourism ambassador of Vietnam to a specific country or tourism market.
