Starting at Rajamangala National Stadium, the route passes iconic sites like the Victory Monument, the statues of King Rama V and King Rama VIII, the Grand Palace, and renowned temples such as Wat Pho and Wat Arun. The course presents not only a physical challenge but also an immersive experience of local culture, history, and heritage.

Tran Hai Dang, an amateur runner who has conquered several marathons in Vietnam, notes that international races like those in Thailand are gaining popularity. He advises those interested to research and plan early for a fulfilling experience.
Similarly, Thanh Lieu, a participant in the Chiang Mai Marathon, describes being "captivated" by the natural beauty of northern Thailand and the professionalism of the organizers. This year, she plans to register for the Bangkok event.

Beyond the race itself, runners can combine their trip with tourism, exploring local culture and enjoying street food in areas like Song Wat Road and Ban Than Thong Road. Major shopping centers like Icon Siam and One Bangkok also offer diverse entertainment and shopping options.
With numerous direct flights from Vietnam to Bangkok, attending the race is convenient. The cost of accommodation and travel in Bangkok is reasonable and comparable to major Vietnamese cities, providing an advantage for Vietnamese runners seeking an international marathon experience.

Last year, Vietnam made a notable presence at the Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok 2024 with nearly 240 participants, ranking 8th in the total number of participants, which included over 33,712 runners from more than 16 countries.
