VUI-Fest Ha Long, situated near the Lighthouse on Ky Quan street, is designed as a "prosperous trading port" where the local culture of the heritage region is re-imagined through contemporary expression.
The highlight of the opening night on 25/4 was a water performance featuring a fleet of 6 red sailboats, combined with artistic lighting and music. Immediately following this, the Ha Long sky was illuminated by a high-altitude fireworks display with more than 50 multi-layered effects.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere with performances by indie bands, DJs, and street artists. The complex also features 100 kiosks displaying and selling local specialties.
VUI-Fest Ha Long is expected to establish Bai Chay as a leading night entertainment hub in the Northern region. The complex aims to increase tourist stay duration and spending, transforming Ha Long into a four-season destination.
Quang Ninh provincial leaders stated that the introduction of VUI-Fest Ha Long before the 30/4 and 1/5 holidays will inject new life into local tourism. This new attraction is anticipated to enhance the province's competitiveness and standing on the international tourism map.

In 5/2026, the complex plans to debut a 3D Mapping show titled "Long Van Khanh Hoi" at the Lighthouse area. This light technology performance will retell the story of the heritage land and is expected to become a new artistic symbol for Quang Ninh tourism.
In Quarter I, Quang Ninh welcomed more than 6 million visitors, a 110% increase compared to the same period last year, surpassing its set targets. Domestic visitors accounted for approximately 4,9 million, while international visitors reached nearly 1,38 million, indicating a clear recovery in the international tourist market.
Revenue from tourism activities during the first three months of the year is estimated at approximately 15,687 billion VND, a 119% increase over the same period in 2025. This further affirms tourism's role as a key economic sector for the province.
